55 Hudson Yards is a 51-story, 1.4 million square foot class A office building in Manhattan’s new Hudson Yards neighborhood. Developed in partnership with Related Companies and Oxford Properties, 55 Hudson Yards opens directly onto Hudson Boulevard Park – one of the only office buildings in New York that opens directly onto green space. 55 Hudson Yards highlights the stunning Soho-influenced architecture of A. Eugene Kohn and Pritzker prize-winning architect Kevin Roche, blending classic symmetry with modern design. The building was designed for superior layout flexibility, with floor plates that provide superior efficiency compared to existing building stock. The building features 10’-0” finished ceilings; 9’-0” of vision glass over 1’-0” sills; tower floorplates with no interior columns; and high speed destination dispatch elevators. Designed to achieve a LEED Gold certification, 55 Hudson Yards offers a state of the art HVAC system for improved indoor air quality and numerous other sustainable features. The property is located in Hudson Yards, the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States. Hudson Yards will include more than 17 million square feet of commercial and residential space, state-of-the-art office towers, more than 100 retailers, a collection of restaurants, approximately 5,000 residences, a unique space for cultural events, 14 acres of public open space, a 750-seat public school and a 200-room Equinox branded luxury hotel. 55 Hudson Yards is located two blocks from Penn Station, eight blocks from the Port Authority Bus Terminal and adjacent to the number 7 subway station at 34th Street and Hudson Boulevard, which was designed to connect 40,000 commuters per hour to Grand Central Terminal and all major NYC Transit lines. 55 Hudson Yards achieved substantial completion in December 2018.
